Koh Phangan

Koh Phangan Island famous for its full moon parties is one of three inhabited islands in Angthon National Marine Park located in the SuraThani province on the South East coast of Thailand situated in the Gulf of Thailand.

Koh Phangan stretches 19 kilometers from north to south and 12 kilometers from west to east. The island is mainly mountainous jungle surrounded by beautiful, white sandy beaches and turquoise waters. There are more than thirty magnificent beaches to choose from on this lively island paradise. The north of the island is more tranquil than the south although wherever you are on the island you can enjoy Mother Nature’s beauty.

On Koh Phangan diving and snorkeling is possible the whole year around. Best chances to see something spectacular like a Whale Shark is in October or March. The full collection of tropical reef-fish can be seen, studied or shot with a camera everyday 365 days of the year.
